On August 25, 2020 on the Ministry of Education’s Twitter site posted about getting families support.

    Someone asked Does IEP quality?

The Ministry of Education (Ontario Ford Government) asked what’s an IEP?

As a mother to a special needs child this truly hurt me. Why? Because IEP means Individual Education Plan. An IEP is more than just a written legal document (or “plan”). It’s a map that lays out the program of special education instruction, supports, and services kids need to make progress and thrive in school.

Each program is designed to meet a student’s unique needs. The term IEP is also used to refer to the written plan that spells out the specific types of help kids will get. Both the program and the written plan are covered by special education law, or the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Every single educator in Ontario knows what it stands for but the Ministry of Education in Ontario does not.

    The tweet was then deleted.

I have these 11 ounce mugs available.

You can choose for both sides to have the tweet or one side with the tweet and the other side to say NEEDS BASED THERAPY. Something I and many others have been fighting for since the terrible changes were made to the Ontario Autism Program, by the Ford government.
